Ready to gain a passion for His word? Then this is for you!

“The BCC was really helpful in understanding how to correctly interpret the Bible within its historical context and I enjoyed the variety of creative assignments. It gave me a greater understanding of the bigger picture of the Bible and God’s faithfulness and love throughout. God used the BCC to transform my relationship with Him and deepen my faith. I would highly recommend this course.”–

Abi Skeates, January 2017 BCC

This course gives students a good understanding of the inductive approach of Bible study, equipping them with tools for life. We model and motivate students to incorporate the scriptures into other facets of their life such as evangelism worship and intercession. The goal of this course is to see the way God revealed himself throughout time, and to have a more in depth understanding of his character, nature and love towards humanity.

By the end of the program, you will have read the entire Bible and study it in chronological order. You will receive a historical background on the books (who wrote it, intended target audience, and its cultural context), giving you a broader picture of the book, and time line of both the New Testament and Old Testament. Our hope and aim is to take all the learnt tools and information and see its relevance for our personal lives today through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We will have a variety of experienced teachers coming to share and impart wisdom and truth. This upcoming school we will do a trip to Rome, Italy to visit the historical Biblical places where some of the Books took place.

The course includes:

  • Learning how to do an inductive study and use it on 13 books.
  • Work in understanding Hebrew poetry through the book of Psalms and wisdom literature through the book of Proverbs.
  • Incorporate timeless truths from the book of proverbs through creative means with an audience.
  • An intensive Study of the Bible in chronological order from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
  • Explore every type of literature in the Bible – prophecies, poetry, the parables, etc.
  • Old and New Testament overview.
  • See how God has revealed himself through scripture.
  • Gain experience in facilitating a small group Bible study, and enhance their skills in teaching and preaching the word.
